Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Second Season Bingo Cards — And She Has Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel debuts on Prime Video soon, and audience theories has been rampant.

The first season presents a diverse group of personalities residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers detailing their conflicts, and establishes heated competitions and angsty, affectionate connections that drive audience devotion.

The fandom's stated hopes for season 2 differ greatly, but certain threads emerge over and over: Will a fan-favorite character break free from Valentino? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" constraining the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated earlier this year. "However I feel like me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She reveals her big-picture plan is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by Prime Video and A24, which produce the series.

That might mean fans have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they may be surprised at how quickly the new season moves, and how much of what they're anticipating unfolds this season.

"I believe people are going to get a lot out of it," she adds. "There are several debut moments. I think we receive some incredible disclosures, some fascinating backstories, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the previously silent cast members."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a few fans make a bingo card about the new season," she says. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've already completed some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season premieres on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
